    Resumen

    A new depth sensor concept by IR techniques and the study of the characteristics needed by emitters and detectors in order to build a sensor for Simultaneous High Accurate Measurements of 3-D Points consisting of a CMOS camera detector and a laser emitter useful to apply in external environments is made in this work. To achieve high accuracy, it is necessary to make a high precision calibration of the CMOS camera-laser sensor, but yet more important is distinguishing the reflection of the laser beam from radiation emitted by noisy sources, such as the sun. There are two ways to increase this signal-noise relation: reducing the amount of noise captured or increasing the light emitted power. The second method is not always possible. For our purposes, a method using filters for selecting the appropriate detectors and wavelength has been developed. We have also developed a method in order to calculate the peak usable power of the signal that reaches the limits permitted by international security regulations, in addition to a procedure to determine the signal noise ratio that could be obtained. In this paper, research results are provided on the emission of wavelength determination, Gaussian power distribution of emitted laser beam and maximum power emission. After presenting the theory of the optimum working conditions, detection results obtained with several types of emitter and detectors are shown. In order to reach simultaneous 3-D measurements a structured laser beam (plane shaped) has been used instead of a one-point rotation scanner rangefinder.
