The GEINTRA research group (the acronym follow the name of the group in Spanish: Electronic Engineering Applied to Intelligent Spaces and Transport Group) is an officially recognized group by the University of Alcala (reference CCTT2006/R37), that is composed by 23 faculty members (all of them PhD) and several hired researchers associated to different research projects and university programs.

Actividad a Realizar: Desarrollo y adaptación hardware de emisores y receptores del sistema óptico de posicionamiento local para seguimiento y monitorización de personas. Desarrollos electrónicos, control y acondicionamiento de emisores y receptores, implementación de algoritmos de codificación/modulación. 2) Diseño de algoritmos de posicionamiento con machine learning (ANN, RNN, data augmentation…). 3) Prototipado y Pruebas Experimentales: Diseño y ensamblaje de prototipos hardware, pruebas en condiciones controladas y reales. 4) Análisis y Procesamiento de Datos experimentales, aplicando técnicas estadísticas.

Today, at 16:30h the defense of the Final Project "Simple calibration proposal for video-surveillance applications" will take place in Sala 1 of the Electronics Department, at the Polytechnic School. It will be presented by Cosmin Lungu, Erasmus Student from the UNIVERSITATEA LUCIAN BLAGA DIN SIBIU, in Romania, tutored by professor Cristina Losada Gutierrez.

We invite all members of the group, and any other intersted in its reseach topics to attend to the defense.
