Geintra

Daniel Pizarro Pérez received in 2008 the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Enginneering from the University of Alcala, Spain. In the period 2005-2012 he was assistant professor and member of the GEINTRA group in the Department of Electronics of the University of Alcala. In the period 2012-2014 he is associate professor and member of ALCoV (Advanced Laparoscopy and Computer Vision) group in Université d'Auvergne, France. From 2014 he is associate professor in the Departament of Electronics in the University of Alcala. He has research experience in image registration, optimization methods and deformable surface reconstruction from images. He also works for the development of computer vision techniques applied to minimally invasive surgery.
